I’m a first-generation Salvadoran American, born and raised in the vibrant city of Los Angeles. As the child of immigrant parents who sought refuge from the war in El Salvador, my roots and upbringing have deeply shaped who I am and the art I create.

My journey began in middle school, scribbling poetry in the back of the class. Those words eventually made their way to stages across the city, where I shared my work at open mics and venues, connecting with people through raw emotion and storytelling. One day, I decided to take it further and turn my poetry into music.

As an independent artist, I faced challenges—primarily, finding people willing to work with me. Determined to keep creating, I taught myself everything I needed to know: mixing, engineering, photography, video editing, DJing, and more. Along the way, I had the honor of working alongside some incredibly talented local artists, which helped me grow and refine my skills.

 

All of this led to the creation of Willy West Productions, a space where I could bring my ideas to life and share them with the world. This journey has been a labor of love, and I’m excited for you to be part of it. Thank you for stopping by—let’s keep creating and connecting through art!
